NARCO-SENS FOR THE DETECTION OF MANY (20+) NARCOTICS IN SOLIDS

When customs or the police encounter a suspected narcotic, it is necessary to determine what kind of narcotic it might be.
These so-called presumptive tests are manufactured by M.M.C. International B.V. located in the Netherlands.
The most used and produced tests here are colour tests, however M.M.C. is now working on a very promising new apparatus called the Narco-Sens.
The Narco-Sens will be a complete new technology in the forensic field. It will be easy in use, give specific, rapid and reliable results and is useful to detect many illicit substances. Where colour tests would give a colour which needs comparison to the colour displayed on the ampoule, the Narco-Sens simply tells you if it is positive for a certain narcotic. With a low detection limit (within nanogram range), the use of special sensors and the measurements performed within minutes, the result is easily obtained.
The use of the Narco-Sens is easy. All you need is a spatula, a special buffer solution and the sensor, all sold exclusively by M.M.C. You simply insert some of the suspected substance with the supplied spatula into the special buffer solution. Stir and shake the solution, add a few drops onto the sensor and insert the sensor strip inside the Narco-Sens.
The Narco-Sens uses a special method where electricity is used to determine what substance is present in your sample. An intelligent program, especially designed for the Narco-Sens, will interpret the results for you and provides you with a simple answer. Afterwards you simply dispose the sensor and the Narco-Sens will be ready for its next analysis.
Other sensitive techniques might require a big apparatus, where the Narco-Sens is small, portable and even rechargeable. This is especially designed to ensure the comfort of the client. The comfort of the client is even more ensured with the easy use of the Narco-Sens. Furthermore, the results of the analysis done by the Narco-Sens can be saved to an USB drive and then printed, so it can be stored with the sample.
